Private Tour of Jordan in Five Days

After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel lobby. This morning, you will be traveling for nearly one hour to the ancient town of Madaba, where you will visit St Georges Church, home to the famous 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land.

After touring the church, you will take a short drive to Mt Nebo, the place where Moses was said to have been granted a view of the Promised Land. The view from the summit provides a panorama of the Holy Land and the valley of the River Jordan. On a clear day, you can even see Jerusalem from here.

You will then be driven to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Check in to a day resort and experience the unique sensation of floating in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea. You will also have some free time to enjoy the facilities of the resort.

Later in the afternoon, you will be driven to Petra.

Today you will tour the ancient city of Petra after breakfast. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital once dominated the Arabian trade routes, and is one of the must-see attractions in the Middle East.

Meet your guide at the Visitor's Centre and start exploring Petra's top highlights on a guided tour. You will pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, to reach the magnificent Al-Khazneh or 'The Treasury'. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theatre and Qasr Al Bint. Walk the same way back to the entrance gate.

After Petra tour, you will be transferred to Wadi Rum, which is home to one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world.

Marvel at the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin people.

After breakfast enjoy the wilderness adventure on a 4WD tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia. Climb the sand dunes and rock bridges.

The sites you will be visiting include: Nabatean Temple, Lawrence Spring, Khazali Canyon, Little Bridge, Um Fruth Rock Bridge, Lawrence House, and Burdah Rock Bridge. In between the tour, we will be stopping for a picnic lunch.

Note: On the way back, you can embark on an optional activity of camel safari.

After the tour of Wadi Rum, you will be transported to Amman airport for your flight back home.

Our representative will meet you at Queen Alia Airport and assist you with all the entry formalities. You will then be transported to you hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive 50 km north to the city of Jerash. Also called the Pompeii of the East, Jerash was built by Alexander the Great, and prospered following the Roman conquest. It was one of the Decapolis cities in northern Jordan.

Here, you will visit Hadrian's Arch, built in 130 AD to honor the visit of Emperor Hadrian; and the Hippodrome, which once offered space for 15,000 spectators to watch horse and chariot racing. The tour will also take you to the impressive Oval Forum, the Temple of Artemis, the Colonnaded Street and the Nymphaeum.

Next, you will visit the city of Ajloun, where you will find Al-Rabid Castle, built during the 12th century by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Amman. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the downtown city and visit the Amman Citadel, which is strewn with the remains from the Roman era to early Islamic period. Perched high on the hill top, the citadel offers great views of surrounding Amman.

Take a stroll through the Souq (marketplace), where you wil get an idea of everyday life in Jordan, and visit the Roman Theatre from 2nd century with 6,000 seating capacity.
